Designed to replicate a digital car, the GTbyCitroën concept car feels every inch as muscular as it looks – and starting it feels like firing up a jet.
The result of a partnership between Citroën and Polyphony, the designer of the driving simulation game Gran Turismo 5, its copper, nickel, and leather steering wheel ‘kind of looks like a Playstation controller’.
With a V8 engine boasting 550HP, it requires two levers to be uncovered and flipped forward before you can fire it up like a jet and enjoy its superior aerodynamics.
At the same time, safety tech includes a heads-up display (HUD) that projects stats onto the vehicle’s windshield without the driver having to look away from the road.
