Imagine living in this Miami mansion, which floats, runs on sunshine, and skips the land entirely, because you can live like you’re in the city, but be as far away from it as you want.
This Arkup mansion development is a series of luxury mansions that float on water, and promote ‘seamless living’ with plenty of outdoor space and places to put your vast collection of water toys.
The houseboat is completely solar powered, so it runs on sunshine, making it perfect for the weather in Miami.
However, if Miami isn’t for you, then you’re free to move your home anywhere you want on noise-free electric thrusters, which can reach up to five knots.

These mini Miami mansions are fabulous, and most importantly, they float, are solar-powered, and exist entirely on water.
The Arkup water houses are tiny little mansions that are hurricane-proof and can be parked at any marina. Or even 2,500 nautical miles into the deep ocean.
The first prototype is ready for dwellers and it costs $5 million, has four bedrooms and a rooftop pool. And the concept has been bought by a Miami-based hospitality company, which plans on taking it far.

It looks like these little floating mansions won’t be available to live in permanently. Instead, they’ll be used more as a vacation rental to remember.
The luxe residences will be treated in a similar way to a hotel, where provisions and deliveries will be brought to you by a bellhop on a motorboat. How cool is that?
A secret little trick added in by the Arkup architects is that if you put four together, the docks form a pool in the middle. So maybe there’s a future where whole water-based cities will be formed out of Arkups.
This floating mansion looks like the future is full of cool water-based vacations. Where can we sign up?
