This Connecticut car fan bedazzled her viral Honda Civic with over 32,000 rhinestones – and the result will blow your mind.

The gearhead got into cars as a child and hasn’t looked back since.

But this passion project is simply something else.

The matte black Civic Type-R is equipped with a pink, rhinestone flame, and after weeks of work, the masterpiece still isn’t fully complete.

This viral Honda Civic had a glow-up thanks to 32,000 rhinestones

Vanessa Elise Yezen, AKA The Lil Ghost Girl, is a Honda lover through and through, with her obsession with cars beginning as a child.

And now, she’s used her love of all things auto to create something special – a bedazzled Honda Civic

“At this point, I have used over 32,000 individual rhinestones. The process is pretty simple, just tedious,” she explained.

And, as you’d expect, a project like this doesn’t come cheap either, with the gearhead detailing that so far the project has taken her a total of four weeks and set her back a whopping $315. 

The design is simply slick – a pink vinyl rhinestoned flame, as Vanessa loves the ‘classic visual appeal of the shape of flames.

And, he project has a rather wholesome purpose too.

“I hope to inspire more people to get into car modifications. I would like to bring back the uniqueness and the color ways of classic cars,” she said.

“I am particularly a Honda girl because they are just built to last, but also because when you initially think of Honda, you think of a basic commuter car, and it is my mission to challenge that.”

She also noted that she has never been one to just see a car get you from A and B and thinks that they have lots of potential – and her bedazzled viral Honda Civic shows that the proof is in the pudding.

Why did the gearhead choose a Honda Civic?

Well, it’s a simple answer – after Vanessa went to the annual Honda Fest event with her Civci Type R, she realized no one had actually done anything to the cars cosmetically, so she took on the task.

She also grew up going to classic car shows with her grandfather, so her love for cars also has family roots.

It’s no secret that Honda makes reliable cars, and the Civic is a particularly loved model.

For example, one man managed to give an abandoned $500 Honda Civic a new lease of life.

Plus, we can’t forget this ‘silver shark’ that was once a Honda Civic, but ended up looking like a Lamborghini.

But, even though the silver shark is cool, Vanessa’s viral Honda Civic hot girl summer glow-up may just jump to the top of our list.
