These guys from Vietnam built a Koenigsegg Jesko supercar replica using Toyota parts.

The incredible project started with a $200 Toyota engine and turned into something that looked almost like a $7 million hypercar.

While the replica might not match the speed of the original Jesko, the level of detail and creativity was undeniably impressive.

The end result was epic, but it took a lot of work to get there.

Creating the Koenigsegg Jesko replica supercar

To start with, steel frames and metal sheets were molded to match the original Koenigsegg Jesko’s shape.

They then covered the frame with clay to craft the car’s iconic body panels.

The entire build process was captured in a video on YouTube by NHET TV.

And just like the transformation of this Honda Civic into a Lamborghini Aventador replica, the process is seriously impressive.

Interestingly, this Jesko replica was powered by a Toyota 2.0-liter engine, similar to the one they used to power their Ferrari LaFerrari replica.

Fixing the Toyota engine and using the car’s parts

The engine was in a rough shape, so it was thoroughly cleaned with a homemade solution of gasoline and dish soap.

Other parts like brakes, steering, and wiring were also taken from the Toyota donor car to keep costs low.

After the clay body parts were finished, they dismantled the frame and polished the components.

With some welding and solid metalwork, the chassis and frame were eventually brought to life.

Although the final result is yet to be revealed, other videos from the channel showcase the project’s progress, and it looks very promising.

And if the group’s past projects are anything to go by, including this DIY Ferrari LaFerrari and this Lamborghini Aventador made out of old bicycles, the Jesko replica will be an absolute beast.

We can’t wait.
