This UAE plate was spotted on a flashy Mercedes-Maybach GLS, and it seems that the SUV was on a luxury safari, a long way from home.

Spotted in North Dakota, USA, the license plate seemed to have Dubai origins, which meant it was thousands of miles away from its usual parking spot at the owner’s home.

After the plate was pictured deep in the US, it attracted lots of attention from car enthusiasts.

It’s no wonder that the car was shipped overseas, though, as the power it boasts would make any journey, especially a long one, highly enjoyable.

The UAE, especially Dubai, is known for its luxury car culture, and now one particularly luxe SUV has been spotted several thousand miles from home.

A Mercedes-Maybach GLS was spotted in North Dakota, US, but you see the license plate had Dubai lettering on it.

The news came to light after a Reddit user shared the image of the Maybach online.

“[Maybach GLS] with UAE plates spotted in Medora, North Dakota, USA,” said user PastAmbassador280.

After viewing the car in all its glory, other gearheads simply had to comment on the situation.

“Yes, you are right, I was visiting Roosevelt NP and saw this car there and also at Medora, where I took this pic,” said one user.

“Must be like driving a hovering spaceship. If the normal GLS has plenty of comfort, can’t even imagine what Maybach implies in this model,” added another.

“Crazy vehicle for North Dakota. Especially in (what looks like) a tiny village-like city. Cool spot,” added another.

But, there’s a catch – the Mercedes-Maybach GLS was also spotted over 500 miles away near Milwaukee, too.

Who knows, maybe the owner was on a road trip across the US and wanted the luxury of their own car rather than a hire vehicle.

What’s really driving the Maybach to success?

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the Mercedes-Maybach GLS was the vehicle of choice for the gearhead.

The SUV has an impressive set of stats behind the flashy and timeless Mercedes badge.

The huge car has a whopping 520-liters of luggage space and can reach 0-62mph in just 4.9 seconds.

Both the exterior and interior mean business too, with the room inside coming in abundance.

“Freedom means not having to restrict yourself: the Mercedes-Maybach GLS offers front passengers plenty of legroom and a backrest inclination of up to 43.5 degrees,” explained the manufacturer itself.

In fact, we’ve even seen the luxury SUV in action, too, and it has left car enthusiasts wanting more.

Down in Atlanta after a Maybach received a custom glow-up on top of the already limited-edition shell, and the result was pure art.

Plus, forget a plain design and mediocre interior – this Mercedes-Maybach with rose gold seats is the ultimate luxury ride and will leave you in awe at the features it boasts.
