Finding a single vintage muscle car in the wild is rare enough, but stumbling across dozens of abandoned Camaros feels almost unreal.
That is exactly what happened when Parker from YouTube channel Backyard Barn Finds ventured into a remote, overgrown property that looked like it has barely changed in decades.
The YouTuber was following up on a tip sent in by one of the viewers, but seeing it in person was different from hearing about it.
Tucked among trees, leaves, and years of neglect were more than 30 Chevrolet Camaros slowly being reclaimed by nature.

These cars date back to the golden era of American muscle cars
The collection belongs to a man named Shun, a long-time car enthusiast and collector based in Mississippi.
While the cars belonged to Shun and his brothers, most of them have been abandoned in the woods behind Shun’s property for the longest time.
When Parker arrived, what he found was not a single vintage muscle car, but an entire slice of muscle car history scattered across the land.

While Camaros dominate the scene, they are far from alone.
A handful of Dodge Challengers, Chevrolet Novas, and other period-correct performance cars are mixed in, making the find even more compelling.

Most of the cars appear to be from the late 1960s and 1970s, the golden era of American muscle.
First- and second-generation Camaros are especially prevalent, some still wearing recognizable body lines, badges, and factory colors despite years of exposure.

Others are barely identifiable at first glance, with rusted panels, collapsed roofs, and interiors reduced to frames and springs.

These abandoned Camaros are in rough shape
There is no sugar-coating the condition of the collection.
Many have been sitting outdoors for decades, with nature taking full advantage of the time.
Trees grow through engine bays, floors have rusted away, and weather has done serious damage to nearly every vehicle.

According to Shun, he had the opportunity to buy a building for $50,000 decades ago, but his brothers didn’t agree on the deal.
Shun definitely regretted the decision, given that his collection of vintage cars would be sheltered from the elements if he pulled the trigger.
For years, Shun held onto the cars, but circumstances have changed.
As explained in the video, he is now ready to let them go, largely because he does not have the time, energy, or resources to restore them himself.
Rather than watching them continue to deteriorate, he has decided it is finally time to sell.
For those who are interested in getting your hands on one of these abandoned Camaros, Parker put Shun’s contact in his video, so you can get in touch if you want to.
