MrBeast is no stranger to giving away huge prizes on his YouTube channel, but according to one giveaway winner, one Lamborghini wasnt worth all that much in the end.
One lucky individual was hopping in an Uber to work when a Lamborghini turned up instead.
The winner was, of course, shocked that he now owned the car he was being driven in by the YouTube star, believing it to be a moment that would change his life for the better.
However, after being told to sell it by the creator once the cameras had stopped rolling, the price that it demanded may shock you.

The Lamborghini was won from MrBeast
The Lamborghini Gallardo is a super-fast sports car that was manufactured from 2003 to 2013, and thanks to the exclusivity and price tag of the vehicle, very few people get to call it their own.
That is, until MrBeast came along.

The YouTube sensation decided to film a video and surprise some of his subscribers in a Lamborghini, but there was a twist.
MrrBeast acted as an Uber driver, and taxied people from A to B.
However, at the end of the ride, they got to keep the car.
Now, when a car is won, apparently, participants are required to sign an NDA, but when one man’s document expired, he revealed all about how he had sold the car, but it may not be for the reason you’d imagine.

There was a major flaw in the system
It’s no secret that the Lamborghini Gallardo is an expensive car, but it turns out that keeping it in a garage alone has extra costs.
The participant took to Reddit and explained why he had to sell it.
“He told me a little bit about how much it would cost to keep it, and I started doing math in my head,” he began.
“It just made more sense to sell it as soon as possible and take the money.
“Also, no, it was not part of the deal that I had to sell it,” stated the Lamborghini competition winner.
He ended up selling the Lamborghini for $95,000, which is clear depreciation for the Lamborghini that we estimate to be from the 2004 model year.

In fact, just recently, it was revealed that a Lamborghini Gallardo V10 is cheaper to buy than a BMW M3. Talk about a huge loss in value for an impressive car.
Extra costs were also set to hurt his bank account even more.
Not only was the luxury tax set to be around $6,000 if he had the car for over 60 days, but the insurance was also projected to be about $5,600.
“I sold it after two days to the highest offer.
“Probably could’ve got more money if I held out for a few months,” he later explained.
So, unfortunately, he sold the Lamborghini for $95,000 and spent some of the money on himself, family, and close friends, but the majority was invested or saved by the winner.
His big splurge, though? A Honda Civic, as he could now afford a car of his own, and that would be better for him down the road.
