The Ford Model A serves as the basis of old-school hot rod culture.

It replaced the most important car ever built: the Model T.

A US man recently rescued a 1929 Model A from his uncle’s property.

And he turns it into a gassed-up beast of a hot rod.

Ford was on top of the American car world by 1927.

The Model A was actually the first car that Ford ever produced.

The maker introduced its extremely iconic Model T in October 1908.

It successfully served as Ford’s – and America’s – flagship automobile.

By the end of its run, the brand had sold over 15 million units of the Model T.

However, it quickly realized that it needed to change things up to stay competitive.

To that end, it reintroduced the Model A, running from 1927 to 1931.

It represented a subtle yet significant departure from the Model T.

The auto featured a lowered, sleeker body design and a more powerful engine.

And it’s a heavily customized Model A that is the star of today’s story.

Over the past few years, the American YouTuber has been working on a very cool project.

And the project in question features a 1929 Ford Model A.

Papa Wheelie rescued a derelict, abandoned Ford Model A from his uncle’s property.

He managed to rescue the body, and added a very cool, rusted teal-and-black paint finish.

He also fitted some cool white-wall tires – because who doesn’t love white-wall tires?

You might be wondering what’s powering this cool hot rod?

Well, the answer is probably going to surprise you.

Papa Wheelie is using the engine from a ruined Polaris RZR All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV).

We can’t wait to see what happens next!
