The late actor Val Kilmer had some really cool muscle cars that proved he was a real gearhead.

Many celebrities have a love for all things automotive, but often their collections consist of the latest flashy wheels.

Kilmer kept his collection esteemed yet humble, with even used cars having sat among his garage lineup.

But what other speed machines did he also own?

It’s no secret that celebrities love collecting impressive cars

From hypercars to muscle cars to even daily drivers, some famous people’s collections are vast.

Take Charles Leclerc, for instance, who added a Ferrari Purosangue to his ever-growing collection.

Despite his roaring success, Chris Pratt actually has a very humble car collection.

It turns out that Val Kilmer’s collection was also one for the history books.

One of his fleet of cars included the classic 1969 Pontiac GTO

The first impressive car Kilmer owned was a 1969 Pontiac GTO.

The Pontiac GTO is often known as the first muscle car, so it’s no surprise the Top Gun star wanted to add one to his esteemed collection.

The snap-up was a blue GTO convertible, made in 1969, which he tried to gift to his son before parting ways with it completely.

Unfortunately, though, his son deemed the classic impractical, plus the paparazzi apparently knew it too well, which, let’s face it, is not ideal.

The car was previously featured in an auction with a whole new look. It included a black exterior and cream revamped cabin.

The next car loved by the actor was the Porsche Panamera

Porsche is one type of car that’s loved by celebs far and wide, so it’s no surprise the Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang star wanted to snap one up.

But did you know that he actually bought a used version of the Panamera, not one straight off the shelf?

“The Panamera models combine sporty driving dynamics and a high level of driving comfort – both in terms of longitudinal and lateral dynamics,” the official Porsche website states.

The company credits the combination of its chassis, drivetrain, and the ‘Porsche Doppelkupplung’.

The last car in his famed collection was a Plymouth Prowler

The Plymouth Prowler was a nod to the 1950s icon, the Ford Hot Rod.

It first hit the scene in 1997 and was discontinued in 2002, however, the short but sweet stint did in fact pave the way for concept cars for years to come.

Kilmer had a purple version of the classic and previously featured with the car at action, going about his daily duties in Los Angeles.

What do you think of the late star’s car collection?
