Thanks to an impressive powertrain, it’s sure to leave other supercars stuck in the mud.
The technology allowing this EV to shine comes from China.
And gearheads the world over are eagerly waiting for the new vehicle to rear its head.

China is ahead of the game when it comes to cars.
From Tesla’s Chinese rival BYD unveiling a concept EV that could change the automotive world, to startup Omoda unveiling a crossover that looks like a Lamborghini Urus, impressive things are happening in the Chinese market.
Some of the latest news from the country includes a Chinese Sports Car that could very well compete with big rivals in America.
Meet the SC01.
The Small Sports Car SC01, also known as the JMEV 01, is certainly a speedy machine.
It’s said to be 161.7 inches long with a weight of just 3,009LBS, meaning it’s super light.
The EV is also said to be launching with 429HP, so it’s no slouch on the road.
The powertrain and chassis prove it to be a powerhouse, with the two-seater design invoking classic muscle car vibes.

The wide tail shape is set to make cruising at high speeds easy, too, along with the striking red shell capturing car enthusiasts’ attention.
Set to be released this year, the SC01 could see a new competitor take centre stage, and knock companies such as Audi off the top spot where sporty two-seaters are concerned.
The exact price varies, but you can expect it to be very affordable, with whispers as low as $30k.
That means it’ll likely be cheaper than a Tesla Roadster or even the Nissan Z NISMO sports car.
It’s no secret that China is paving the way for advancing EV technology.
For instance, EV manufacturer Xiaomi’s SU7 factory in the country has even become a tourist hotspot for gearheads, giving Tesla’s gigafactories a run for their money.
More details are sure to be released soon, but for now keep an eye out as the release beckons.
