Vin Diesel’s incredible Pontiac GTO shoots missiles from its headlights, and it might be the coolest car in movie history.
Diesel is of course famous for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, but he also had a starring role in the 2002 movie, XXX.
Various cars were used in the film, and one of them is this 1967 Pontiac GTO, which might be even cooler than the cars from the movie series.
Not only does it shoot missiles out of its headlights, but it’s also one of the greatest muscle cars ever made.

What makes the Pontiac GTO so cool?
The car has recently gone up for sale, and it has all the cool features it had during the film.
Inside, the cabin has what looks like 16 different gauges, or round light pods on the dashboard.
A turbo boost gauge grabs the eye, too, featuring flame decor on the front.

The interior looks like something from a space shuttle rather than a classic American muscle car.
Shooting missiles out of its headlights was another headlining feature, and akin to something from James Bond.
Unlike many recent films, many of the stunts performed by the car were done for real with no CGI.
So what you see in the film is exactly what the Pontiac did with Vin Diesel behind the wheel.
This is one of America’s greatest muscle cars
There is no denying just how revered a muscle car the Pontiac GTO is.
This particular one from 1967 has a mighty 400ci V8 under the hood that makes 335hp.
Even with all its modifications, there is no mistaking this as a Pontiac GTO.
The car even has its familiar purple paint scheme from the film, with it even featuring the XXX logo on the doors.

Jay Leno got to check out the car with its previous owner before it was put up for sale.
At the time of writing, Vin Diesel’s GTO was listed for sale at Motorcar Classics, with a price of $79,900.
That is a lot of money for many of us.
But it is also a chance to own one of the coolest movie cars that money can buy.
