This Wisconsin owner of a 4,000,000-mile Kenworth truck has invested a lot of time and effort to keep the truck in shipshape condition.

The huge vehicle has been kept going by the gearhead for 30 years, and it’s all thanks to time and effort.

The truck still has much more life in it, too, with advanced additions that will no doubt be in working order for years to come.

The driver has even won an award for his special trucking efforts.

Trucks can come in all different shapes and sizes.

From huge, sprawling hauling trucks to mini pickups, the opportunities are endless.

For example, one man from Kansas built an ‘unstoppable’ semi-truck to plough through everything that even looks like GTA’s Phantom Wedge.

Plus, we bet you didn’t know that a small African company actually beat Slate in creating a $20,000 EV pickup truck.

But, when it comes to keeping trucks in mint condition a few decades after they were initially purchased and made, one man knows his stuff.

Meet Alan Kitzhaber, in fact, the driver is so in the know that he even won Overdriver’s Trucker of the Year in 2024.

His Kenworth truck has been going since he purchased it in the 90s and even has over 4,000,000 miles on the clock.

But, as you’d expect, it’s taken skill, time, and investment to keep it in full working order.

I’ve driven this truck since it was new in January of 1995,” Alan told Overdrive as he toured the YouTube channel around his huge, white truck.

Under the hood, the truck is powered by a 3406E Caterpillar engine that has been revamped a trio of times.

The Kenworth T600 also has other new and improved aspects that have kept it perfectly ticking over, including a fuel heater, air hose reel, and a system that monitors tire pressure.

He has also built storage space and even added a desk.

“Diligent maintenance goes a long way to keep that truck going if you’re willing to do the maintenance to keep it going,” he explained.

As a result of his hard work, the truck has racked up over 4,100,000 miles.

Take a look at all of the action from Alan and Overdrive below.
