This woman was left in total shock after discovering what a mechanic had been doing with her car on a dash cam.
Megan Bolton had left her car at the garage for the weekend whilst awaiting a part for it to be fixed.
But she was left in disbelief when she watched the footage and saw what the mechanic had been up to.
Just wait until you see what drama went down.

Nowadays, every driver is likely to have a dash cam one way or another
From capturing highway mishaps like this teen driver did, to this driving instructor using the camera to cleverly collect her students making mistakes – dash cams are a handy tool to have.
Thanks to her dash cam, this woman found out just what went down as she took her Ford Focus RS to the mechanic – and she certainly wasn’t expecting to find such an abundance of events.
Think about it – most of us trust our mechanic to treat our vehicles with care and dish out good advice.
Sadly though, that is not always the case.
21-year-old Megan Bolton had dropped her 2.3-liter car to be fixed at the mechanic and a part had to be ordered in.
To stop the car from getting more damaged from overheating she asked to leave it at the garage over the weekend until the part to fix the temperature sensor came through the mail.
Seems pretty standard, right? But it’s about to get a whole lot worse.

You see, a mechanic thought he’d take the car home and use it to complete some errands – we’re talking visiting the McDonald’s drive thru and popping to a 7 Eleven… with his kid in the car too.
That’s not where it ends.
The mechanic even took it for it a joy ride – quite literally adding fuel to the fire
She said: “He took it home, left it parked in his driveway overnight which is something I don’t even do.”
He even went speeding – going 71km/h in a 60 and even 93km/h down a backstreet.
‘It’s just not okay’

The team at A Current Affair approached the mechanic about the dash cam footage
And he simply said there was an explanation and she was warned – but Megan says she wasn’t.
He even quipped: “Have you seen the cars we work on here. It’s a Ford Focus.”
Megan was not happy and stated: “I feel absolutely betrayed”.
It’s one word against another – but one thing is for sure.
It’s all on camera.
Hey, at least he apologised.
