This woman showed her TikTok followers how to drive a Lamborghini Urus before asking what was stopping them from buying one.

In a video posted to the GVE London TikTok, a woman went through a step-by-step walkthrough on driving an Urus.

You may think starting up a car is pretty straight forward, but things worked a little differently with this one.

But the video’s host assured viewers that they’d be able to get the hang of it.

How to drive the Lamborghini Urus

The Lamborghini Urus is a magnificent car, whatever way you look at it.

Whether its one previously owned by Shakira, or its been transformed into a badass Apocalypse machine, these cars deserve every bit of praise they get.

They can take on tough terrain in Iceland and have set records at Pikes Peak.

But enough fanfare.

All that is well and good, but how do you drive one of them?

That might seem like an odd question to many people.

You might be thinking ‘What’s there to know? You get in the car, insert the key, get into gear, and go.’

It doesn’t quite work that way with an Urus.

Fortunately, GVE London, a UK based supercar dealership, produced a video to talk their followers through it.

The host talked viewers through the process.

“You start the car by putting your foot on the brake, lifting up the red pedal [On the center console] and pressing start,” she explained.

When this was done, the seat may move forward.

And the seatbelt may feel extra snug.

But this was just the car ‘giving you a hug’, the woman explained.

Sounds simple enough, right?

Well, there’s a little bit more to it than that.

She continued: “[To put the car into drive] you flick this pedal [on the side of the wheel].

“If you need to put it into neutral, you press both pedals.”

For reverse, you flick a pedal on the center console.

And to put your Urus into park, you press a ‘P’ button on the console.

There is no traditional handbrake in the Urus, as it is now done through the flick of a switch.

The host conceded: “I know this might look a little confusing, but you’ll definitely get used to it once you buy the car.

“Guys, this is all you need to know to buy your Lamborghini Urus, so what’s stopping you from getting one?”

If the comments were anything to go by, quite a few things.

What’s stopping people from buying one?

Viewers piled into the comments section to share why they hadn’t yet acquired an Urus.

One wrote: “I can think of 180,000 reasons why I can’t buy it.”

Another commenter remarked: “The 180 grand is stopping me.”

“The reason I’m getting stopped is cuz I’m broke,” another commented.

According to Autotrader, Urus prices can start at $253,284 and go up from there.

So maybe getting the car to start wasn’t the biggest obstacle people were facing.
