The world’s most luxurious first-class cabin

Singapore Airlines was miles above the competition to receive numerous accolades.

It was named ‘best of the best’ first-class airline cabin by airline-ranking website, Skytrax.

Condé Nast Traveller, meanwhile, polled readers ahead of awarding the airline the title of ‘best first-class cabin’.

While the offering can differ from aircraft to aircraft, per Business Insider the Airbus A380 is the next level of air travel opulence.

So what fixtures and amenities can you expect in this first-class cabin?

What’s on board?

Your private suite is behind closed doors, far from crying babies, the great unwashed taking their shoes off, and other anti-social behavior you experience in the sky.

But if it’s truly privacy that you’re after, check out this one-of-a-kind cabin for Boeing’s $400 million private jet,

Behind those doors, the suite is furnished with hand-tufted carpets, ultra-leather padded compartments, and even an ensuite wardrobe, so you can store your coat and cabin luggage outfit.

This means you can touch down in an increased outfit.

Allowing you to arrive at your destination rested, refreshed, and ready to go, it features a fully flat bed and premium bedding.

Passengers have the option of a single or double bed with both options also featuring a full-grain leather, 45-degree reclining chair.

Meanwhile, the Airbus ACJ319 features a king-sized bed for its entrepreneur travelers.

Back to the Airbus A380, and the suite’s window blinds close at the touch of a button – meaning traveling between timezones is not an issue and you can give jetlag the swerve.

The service

But while this first-class cabin is all about privacy, the crew and their first-class service are on call at the touch of a button.

First-class cabin guests can choose from a mouth-watering array of dishes from the in-flight menu.

These are crafted by an acclaimed panel of chefs from around the world.

Check out what the one percent eat on their private jets.

If sleeping is off the menu, however, a 32-inch HD touchscreen monitor paired with Bang & Olufsen noise-canceling headphones can keep you entertained.

Those with a KrisFlyer account can save playlists and preferences for future flights.

Passengers can also catch up on work or pleasure or simply their loved ones with complimentary internet connectivity.
