3. Lexus LFA – $375,000

We have to start with the Lexus LFA because this car changed the paradigm for supercars.
People were laughing when the LFA was first announced.
“A $375,000 Lexus sports car? Give me a break,” became the critics’ tagline.

However, everyone in the car world swiftly changed their mind when they actually saw what it could do.
It’s fast, it looks awesome and it has the most amazing V10 soundtrack you ever heard.
And the LFA turned out to be a great investment as well.
Production was capped at 500 units, each one with a price tag of $375,000.
These days, you’d be hard to find one for under $800,000.
And by the way, it took nearly 10 years but Lexus has finally confirmed a new LFA is coming.
2. Dodge Viper – $125,000
Jay Leno has actually owned a variety of Dodge Viper models.
Among others, he’s owned a 1996 GTS, an original first-series from 1993 and a 2013 GTS.
And it’s easy to see why he loves it.
First introduced 30 years ago, the Dodge Viper makes no logical sense.
But that’s exactly why people love it.
For years, the Viper held the record for the largest engine fitted to a production car.
The vehicle you see here is fitted with an 8.4-liter V10, delivering 650 hp.
And the best part? It is fitted with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Viper wasn’t exactly the most expensive supercar in the world when it was new.
But it managed to retain its value because it’s so mad and unique.
A 2013 Dodge Viper GTS just like the one Jay Leno owns will set you back around $100,000.
1. Batman’s Tumbler – $1 million
This is Batman’s ‘Tumbler’ and it was built by Warner Bros’ Transportation Studio division for Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy.
It’s massive, and super heavy.
It is also relatively quick thanks to the 5.7-liter GM V8 that powers it: it does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds.
Not bad for a car that weighs 2.5 tons.
You may have seen this car on the big screen, driven by Christian Bale / Batman.
And believe it or not, you could technically bump into one on your daily commute to the shops.
A few years ago, one of the prototypes was sold in Dubai for $1 million.
