It may have followed shortly after the Paris Motor Show, but the 2022 LA Auto Show didn’t disappoint.

The final motor show of the year saw important debuts from Porsche, Toyota, and Genesis to name a few.

There was a lot to see, but these were the five cars that stole the show.

Porsche 911 Dakar

Porsche’s stand at this year’s show attracted plenty of attention and it’s no surprise.

CHECK THIS OUT!

Just when you thought every conceivable incarnation of the famous sports car had been attempted, up steps the German automaker with another.

Porsche has pulled it out of the bag with the 911 Dakar – a sports car that is just as suitable for offroad driving as it is for on-road performance.

Genesis X Convertible

Genesis has unveiled a long list of extremely pretty concepts and production cars in recent years, but this might be the best yet.

The Korean luxury automaker chose the 2022 LA Auto Show to reveal its third ‘X’ concept – the X Convertible.

A glorious drop-top, the four-seat convertible has a folding metal roof and shares the same powertrain setup with the brand’s other two X concepts – the X Speedium Coupe and X Concept.

Hyundai N Vision 74

Korea is cranking out daring designs and fun-to-drive cars.

The N Vision 74, a high-performance hydrogen electric hybrid vehicle, tells you all about the past, present and future of Hyundai.

Capable of driving around 370 miles and refueling up to 80 percent in five minutes, we hope this 670-horsepower high-performance coupe concept makes it into production.

Hyperion XP-1

Hyperion Motors certainly made its mark on this year’s event.

After unveiling the XP1 prototype back in 2020, the US-based car company upped the ante revealing the futuristic, out-of-this world XP-1 hypercar.

The spaceship-inspired hydrogen-powered vehicle incorporates NASA H2 technologies to deliver 2,000+ horsepower to four axial flux electric motors.

Toyota Prius

‘Prius’ and ‘sexy’ have never been used in the same sentence – until now.

Thankfully, Toyota has dumped the awkward, quirky look of its past Prius for a fresh, modern and sporty exterior design.

As well as being radically redesigned, the next-generation Prius has more power and better fuel economy.
