Aston Martin DBX707

The ultra-high-performance DBX707 is one of the most luxurious and powerful SUVs on the market.

Priced in the region of $250,000, it’s got the looks to match the performance, with its unmistakable Aston Martin styling.

On the subject of design, there have been significant changes to the DBX707 from the core DBX model.

You’ll probably notice the DBX707’s grille, which is 27 percent larger than Aston Martin’s core DBX.

Not only does the double-vaned grille make the 707 instantly recognizable, it increases heat reduction capacity, too.

Another DBX707 identifier is the new horizontal daytime running light strips found at the front of the car.

These aid air flow and aerodynamics of the car, improving overall performance.

A gloss 2×2 twill carbon fiber spoiler extension has been added to the rear wing.

This provides distinctive character to the silhouette of the car, along with elevated aerodynamic support.

The sporting theme continues on the inside, where Aston Martin has developed the ‘Inspire Sport’ interior exclusively for the DBX707.

An Alcantara headlining, multi-adjustable heated and ventilated seats, a dark chrome look, sports steering wheel, and the legendary embroidered Aston Martin wings on the seat backs, make the cabin a glorious place to be.

The DBX707 has been equipped with a brand new center console, designed to give the driver instant access to the car’s most important functions – revised drive modes, ESP off, manual gearbox, and suspension control.

It even has active exhaust control, giving you the option of cruising quietly by or giving full voice to the DBX707’s powerful V8 roar.

Performance wise, the DBX707 provides segment-leading power, resulting in an engaging, high-performing car.

The new, bespoke 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo unit produces 697 bhp (707 PS) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque.

It’ll do the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in just 3.1 seconds, and will go onto a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).

With a power increase of 29 percent compared to the core DBX, the engine performance catapults the DBX707 to the top of the luxury SUV segment.

Combining the engine’s new output with the acoustically-tuned quad exhaust system, the sound produced by the 707 is reflective of the power under its hood.

What’s more, the DBX707 is the first SUV within the luxury sector to be fitted with a multi-plate wet clutch.

This addition enables gears to change 30 percent faster and handle the 29 percent more torque in a controlled, instantaneous manner.
