Pambuffetti PJ-01 Feature image

This is the Pambufetti PJ-01, an Italian supercar powered by a good old V10.

It’s made entirely by hand, and it’s bonkers.

And Supercar Blondie’s very own Domi has taken it for a spin.

The car looks like a dragon, with carbon fiber lights, a pointy nose and a hand-crafted front diffuser.

On the subject of diffusers, the one at the back is even bigger.

In fact, it’s huge.

CHECK THIS OUT!

At the back, you’ll also find an aerodynamic fin that flows across the engine cover and integrates the drop-shaped exhaust system.

Not sure about you, but we can’t remember the last time we saw an exhaust pipe shaped like a rain drop.

How cool is that?

Pambuffetti PJ-01 Power

The Pambuffetti PJ-01 was designed as a Formula 1 car for the road and it shows.

The engine, located right behind the cabin, is a Lamborghini-sourced 5.2-liter V10 and it is capable of putting out 820 hp.

Now, that’s a lot of steam for a car that only weighs 1,100 kg.

Pambufetti says the PJ-01 will do 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in just under three seconds.

The top speed is 320 km/h (200 mph).

Open the gullwing doors and you’ll have to access to an F1-style cockpit with a F1-style steering wheel.

The start/stop button is located at the center of the steering wheel which, by the way, can be removed and replaced with a ‘normal’ steering wheel designed according to the owner’s specifics.

This is no family van but it can be relatively civilized and comfortable.

For a V10 supercar, that is.

The best thing about the Pambuffetti PJ-01 is that it’s here to give drivers an analog experience.

It has a proper V10, with no electric aid.

The engine makes a wonderful noise and it’s fast as heck.

It’s a breath of fresh air in a world full of digital, electric cars.

Pambufetti PJ-01 pricing and availability

The company says production is limited to 25 units only.

Pricing starts at $2 million but it can easily go up depending on how owners choose to spec it.
