There was even a pair of Daisy Dukes left on the backseat, as well as a graveyard for dead rodents.

Pontiac Bonneville

This time capsule of a Pontiac Bonneville has been locked away in a barn for more than 40 years.

Hidden away in a garage for that long, it was understandably covered in a serious amount of dirt and debris.

But now the Bonneville is finally getting the second chance at life it deserves.

The Pontiac Bonneville was bought new by its owners as a wedding gift for themselves back in the 60s.

In the video we can see that it was last plated in 1982 – presumably when it was last used (and washed).

After hauling it out of the garage, the full extent of the task ahead was laid bare.

Although it looked in pretty bad shape, the team at WD Detailing set about trying to resurrect the Pontiac Bonneville from the brink of death.

Exterior

The guys started by giving the wheels a deep clean, which included the hubcaps that were found in the car.

Next up was the task of vacuuming the dirt and debris that had found its way into every nook and cranny of the Pontiac Bonneville.

The entire exterior of the car was then sprayed with a paint-safe degreaser to lift the dust, dirt, and grime from the paintwork when pressure washing it.

It was then washed by hand, followed by a clay bar, before polishing the paint to bring back its shine.

Interior

With the exterior complete, attention was then turned to the interior of the Pontiac Bonneville.

It needed a thorough deep clean, as there was mold all over the leather interior and white powder in the carpet.

There was even a pair of leftover Daisy Dukes on the backseat, as well as a graveyard for dead rodents.

The guys at WD Detailing did a fantastic job, literally transforming the Pontiac Bonneville.

Don’t take our word for it, though – watch the video for yourself.
