Alfa has a long track record of making interesting and beautiful cars, and this time they’ve done something no one else has done: each Tonale will come with its very own NFT.

Let’s start with the good old stuff about engine options, upholstery and performance. The Tonale is designed to rival high-end mid-size SUVs – like the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 – and it will be available with five engine options including diesel, petrol and petrol hybrid.

The cabin is a festival of Alcantara upholstery and is equipped with a state-of-the-art infotainment system, comprising two screens (22.5 inches in total) and integrating Amazon Alexa.

As for the NFT, each Tonale will be delivered with its own unique NFT, which will serve as a certificate of ownership and authenticity. So far we’ve seen NFTs as digital art, but that’s just one of many uses because an NFT, Non-Fungible Token, is essentially an immutable, incorruptible, permanent line of code which could be used to represent anything from documents to images and music.
