F1 star Fernando Alonso doesn’t just kill it on the track.
The double World Champion also has an enviable supercar collection.
But after claiming his fifth podium finish this season at the Monaco Grand Prix, the Spaniard has decided it’s time to part with one of his prized assets.

Now his 2011 Ferrari Enzo is going up for auction in early June.
This isn’t just your average Enzo either.
According to Monaco Car Auctions, there are several “major particularities” of Alonso’s Enzo.
In addition to being “Scocca n.1” as mentioned in its Ferrari Classiche certification, there’s only 4,800 km (2,982 miles) on the clock.
Obviously, its new owner will be able to brag that it was owned by a multiple F1 World Champion, too.
Alonso took ownership of the Ferrari Enzo when he raced for the Maranello-based squad between 2010 and 2014.
This is not the only Ferrari in the Spanish drivers collection either as he owns a black La Ferrari, too.
Some fans joked Alonso was getting rid of the Ferrari to make room for an Aston Martin Valkyrie.
“What a beauty, but I guess he’s gonna get a Valkyrie which is better in every way anyways,” one said.
Another questioned the sale, asking, “how on earth can you sell such a perfection of a car???”.
While a Valkyrie sounds like a worthwhile replacement for the Ferrari Enzo, it’s more likely the F1 star will be handed a new Aston Martin DB12 as his new company car.

Although a guide price hasn’t been released, it will be interesting to see what the Ferrari Enzo fetches at the Ferrari-exclusive auction on June 8.
By comparison, a 2003 Ferrari Enzo recently sold in Paris for €4,055,000 ($4,341,526).
That being said, it was older, wasn’t owned by an F1 star, and had more miles on the clock.
