5. Nurol Makina ‘Ejder Toma’
First up is the Ejder Toma – anti-riot vehicle made in Turkey used to maintain public order in urban and rural areas.
Measuring 23 feet (seven meters), the Ejder Toma also has frontal protection and a powerful water expulsion system.
That water expulsion system can store up to 1,300 gallons (5,000 liters) of water, and expel it up to a distance of 200 feet (60 meters).
It has four-wheel drive, can reach a speed of 56mph (90km/h), and has STANAG Level 1 armor.
4. IAG ‘Armored Anti-Riot Truck’
Next up is the Armored Anti-Riot Truck – a new generation, multi-purpose vehicle manufactured in the United States.
Typically used for crowd control or peacekeeping missions, it has automatic frontal protection that allows the vehicle to cross road blocks.
It also has an upper turret, surveillance cameras with night vision, a public address system, lights, and a fire extinguishing system.
The Armored Anti-Riot Truck has space for a total of 12 occupants, a 480 horsepower motor, and is equipped with STANAG Level 2 armor.
3. Daejicar ‘Auto-Barracading Truck’
Third on our list is this automatic barracading truck manufactured in South Korea.
As the name suggests, it’s typically used for crowd control, protecting personnel from objects or isolating groups of people.
The Auto-Barracading Truck has water expulsion systems, and can quickly deploy its barrier to block an area, supporting 4,400 pounds (2,000kg) of pressure.
Under the hood is an engine with 320 horsepower meaning the vehicle can reach speeds of up to 68mph (110km/h).
2. Beit Alfa Technologies ‘Sting’
Next on the list is the Sting – a new generation vehicle manufacturer in Israel.
It has a mobile ejection system that can launch water at a great height and up to 200 feet (60 meters) away, with the water stored inside a 2,370 gallon (9,000 liter) tank.
Typically used for crowd control in open areas as well as inside buildings, it comes equipped with a thermal camera system, and a control panel with multiple options.
It also has other lateral water expulsion systems to protect the vehicle in different situations, as well as an external protection system made up of a front barrier and also side barriers.
1. Scania P450 Tajfun
Top of the list is the Scania P450 Tajfun – a new, six-wheeled vehicle manufactured in Poland.
To say the Tajfun is a tough cookie would be an understatement; it’s equipped with frontal protection systems, an exterior protection cover, and armored windows.
It has a water tank with a capacity of 2,370 gallons (9,000 liters), and a powerful frontal ejection system that can excel 1,000 gallons (4,000 liters) of water per minute.
With space for three occupants, the Tajfun has two control panels, a 360 degree camera system, and is one of the most advanced vehicles of its kind.
