Lego has built a full-size model of the Bugatti Chiron out of Technic blocks.
Not only does it look almost exactly like the real thing, it also drives.

Built by Lego’s creative team, the model is made out of more than a million Technic pieces.
If you’re looking at your own Lego set and wondering how on Earth this is possible, you’re not alone.
Lego not only used standard blocks for the build, but it also used its Technic line.
And the Technic line is pretty advanced.
It comes with interconnecting rods, gears, axles, motors, and a bunch of other parts which are far more intricate and technical than Lego’s standard bricks.
The team didn’t want to leave anything to chance, so to ensure it would be drivable, they also used some non-Lego components including a steel frame, batteries, gears, and wheels.
So, how well does it actually drive?
Well, not quite as well as the real thing, but the team got it up to speeds of 20 km/h (12 mph).
It’s not going to win any speed records, but that’s pretty impressive for a car built out of plastic motors and Lego blocks.
There’s so much more to the build than what you see at first glance, too.
It has doors that open and close, a spoiler that lifts and lowers with the push of a button, and fully functioning lights and electronics.
Inside, it has a detachable steering wheel and a functional speedometer, which was also built using Technic blocks.
While it didn’t require as many hours as a real Bugatti Chiron to build (which is about six months by the way), the team dedicated thousands of hours to this model.
In fact, they estimate the build process took about 13,500 hours from development to construction.
To show off their insane creation, the team took the Bugatti Chiron for a spin on the same German track where Bugatti does its official testing.
