In bizarre scenes that nobody expected, Elon Musk has been seen smoking a cigar as Joe Rogan fires an arrow at a Tesla Cybertruck.

Yesterday (31 October) Elon Musk appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

The “business magnate, designer, and engineer” joined Joe Rogan for the fourth time talking all things X and a “zombie apocalypse”.

With a portfolio including “Tesla, Inc., SpaceX, Neuralink, X, and many others”, the billionaire spilled about Tesla’s pending Cybertruck.

The conversation soon progressed onto the Cybertruck being bulletproof.

The controversial entrepreneur talked about it having bulletproof steel panels used in rockets in a unique geometric design.

Musk also revealed that there will even be an option for people to upgrade to bulletproof glass.

The Telsa CEO talked about the panels having been tested using a Tommy gun, a 45-millimeter gun and a 9-millimeter gun.

Rogan then challenged CEO Musk.

He suggested that penetrating the Cybertruck’s seemingly tough exterior with a broadside arrow would be doable.

“Can I try it with an arrow?” the controversial but powerful media mogul asked.

“Yeah, it’ll be fine,” Musk said.

“Maybe I’ll drive back with an arrow sticking out of my car.”

When Rogan bet that he could “get it in there”, the billionaire bet him “a dollar” that it wouldn’t penetrate.

The challenge was swiftly accepted between the pair.

The viral video shows Rogan firing the projectile from close range at the Cybertruck’s stainless steel body to test its toughness.

It was posted to X by Ian Miles Cheong.

Rather than piercing its side, the arrow only caused a small dent.

The arrowhead on the other hand was completely destroyed.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk is seen enjoying a cigar in the background as the shot is fired.

He can then be seen inspecting the vehicle.

Musk commented on the video: “The door panels are bulletproof to almost all subsonic projectiles.”

As well as being impenetrable, Musk also used the podcast to discuss the Cybertruck “beast mode”.

Put simply, it can go an impressive 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in a target time of “under three seconds”.

To be exact: 2.9–6.5 seconds.

Notably, the Cybertruck also has a range of 250–500 miles (400–800 km).

Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck in 2019.

Their claim is that it offers “better utility than a truck with more performance than a sports car”.

Tesla recently announced it will begin deliveries of the vehicle on 30 November.

However, Musk warned it will be difficult to scale production.
