The Icon of the Seas, the biggest cruise ship in the world, is finally here.

A clip of the ship approaching the port of Miami went viral, and it’s even more impressive than we thought.

Check it out in the clip down below!

The first thing that stands out is the sheer size.

It’s massive and looks like a city moving on water.

It has a gross tonnage of 250,800, making the Icon of the Seas five times larger than the Titanic.

Royal Caribbean says the ship is large enough to accommodate 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew members.

And that’s the other thing that stands out from the video.

If you squint, you can see thousands of crew members waving tiny red flags as the ship approaches the port of Miami.

It has 20 decks, six waterslides (a world record), and seven swimming pools.

In addition to this, Icon of the Seas will offer “more than 40 ways to dine, drink and be entertained”.

The ship’s maiden voyage is just weeks away.

We know that living on cruise ships is a thing now.

People do it all the time.

Not that long ago, we even heard about the Meta employee who bought an apartment on a cruise ship so he can work from home whilst exploring the world.

But the Icon of the Seas is different, in that it’s designed to be the best and most fun cruise ship for people who just want to enjoy their time on the ship.

For this reason, the price for a trip on the world’s biggest cruise ship is actually more reasonable than you’d think.

For example, a seven-night roundtrip from Miami via Mexico, Honduras and the Bahamas will set you back $1,759 per person.

And this is just the start.

The company has already said they intend to build two sister ships by 2026.
