Saudi Arabia wants to be a tourist destination, and its latest luxury tourist resort project in the Red Sea will definitely help it achieve this goal.

The Red Sea Development Project covers a massive area, including 90 islands in the Red Sea.

By 2030, the project could become a go-to tourist destination with over 8,000 rooms.

The Saudi Crown Prince funds Red Sea Global’s tourist resort project.

Since its announcement, the project attracted a lot of attention from potential customers.

By the time of completion, the Red Sea Development Project should be home to more than 50 luxury hotels and 1,000 residential properties.

It’s truly an ambitious project, but definitely not the only one out there.

Saudi Arabia has multiple ongoing megaprojects, like The Line, which is probably the craziest man-made project ever.

Luxury living, sea adventures, mountain retreats, and desert safari will all be available to anyone visiting the tourist resort project.

Of course, it’s still too early to tell the entire range of activities that you would be able to do there.

However, the vivid landscape of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is so diverse and large that you could get lost there.

Spanning over 302 billion square feet, the Red Sea tourist resort project is almost the size of Belgium.

If you choose to visit the development in the future, you will see familiar luxury resort names there, like the Ritz-Carlton or Marriot.

Moreover, if you’re wondering how even to reach a destination in such a place in Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea airport opened last year, so you can land directly near the place you want to ease off.

A chunk of major tourist resorts are set to open as early as 2025.

Hence, you do not have to wait until 2030 to visit this iconic destination.
