These Superman movie cars are extremely rare
The first car is a 2003 Ford taxi, one of just three examples created for the 2025 Superman blockbuster.
Still dressed in its iconic ‘City of Metropolis’ yellow paint, the cab featured in several sequences throughout the film.

Remarkably, it remains in the same condition it last appeared on screen, making it perfect for a museum display, memorabilia showcase, or even as a quirky prop for an imaginative collector.
Sharing the spotlight is its partner in justice, a screen-used Metropolis Police Department cruiser.

Like the taxi, it’s one of only three built for production, complete with strobe lights, a functional spotlight, and authentic police markings.
This cruiser isn’t just a static background prop either, as it can still be driven.
If you’re lucky enough to be its next owner, you can roll down the street and pretend you’re heading to the next world-ending disaster in Metropolis.
No reserve on either cars
While these Superman movie cars don’t boast the exotic engineering or sky-high price tags of classic supercars, their cultural cachet is undeniable.
Movie cars have a way of transcending horsepower and speed, becoming symbols of the stories they helped bring to life.
Worldwide Auctioneers will be presenting both cars at its upcoming sale, offering bidders the rare chance to own screen-worn pieces of the Superman movie legacy.
With no reserve on either lot, this means the highest bidder, no matter how modest, could walk away with some true cinematic treasures.
If you’re a fan of the man of steel but can’t afford one of these cars, you could also consider buying Toyota’s electric car, which has a special cameo in the Superman movie.
