Rockstar Games made everyone’s day when they announced a new trailer for the upcoming GTA6 video game was imminent.
And now we have a date for the official peek at GTA6: 5 December.
That’s right – it’s set to go live on Tuesday, 5 December at 9am ET to be exact.
And we consider those palm trees a Vice City teaser.
Time to set a reminder.
Fans are, predictably, pretty excited and took to social media to share their thoughts and predictions.

“I’m like a kid on Christmas Eve. I can’t wait,” one said.
“ITS HAPPENING!!!!!” said another.
“Wow, I’m still alive for it! YESSSSS!!” joked a third.
So what do we already know?
Rumors say GTA VI could be the best GTA ever but here’s what we actually know so far about the long-awaited drop of GTA VI.
First up, the maps of the world of GTA VI have been uncovered.
They revealed that it includes well over 100 unique locations to explore.

While most of the game will stay play out in Vice City, new locations include Port Gellhorn, Keys, Sundown, Ambrosia, and Redhill.
That’s in addition to more underwater spots to explore.
It’s predicted that the map may be as much as one-and-a-half-times bigger than its predecessor.
It’s also whispered that Rockstar Games will continuously update the game.
This means that more missions and cities will be available for players to explore, Eurogamer reports.
What’s more, the wanted system of GTA VI looks like it will be completely different to the previous games.
Changes include ‘witnesses’ being able to pass your physical description along to the authorities.
Other upgrades for GTA VI that have fans excited include money laundering, hacking and a Bonnie and Clyde-type dynamic.
In fact, according to a report by Bloomberg last year, it’s been rumored that the game will actually have a female lead for the first time.
The publication informed us that the “woman is Latina and will be one of a pair of leading characters in a story influenced by the bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde”
In a leak of GTA VI gameplay, fans noticed that police AI was notably more advanced.
This has sparked hopes that other NPCs will also get an upgrade minus the glitches of previous interations.
GTA VI is expected to be one of the most significant entertainment releases of the decade.
Launched in 2013, its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V, has sold more than 185 million copies.
In fact, it’s the second-best selling video game of all time.
It falls just behind Minecraft, which may have had the edge due to being playable on phones.

All Supercar Blondie contributors undergo editorial review and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and authority in automotive journalism. After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. Since then, Amelia has created content for numerous titles and brands, including the Telegraph, 111 Skin, Waitrose, Red magazine, Stylist, and Elle, as well as being Head of Content at Vitality and Editor in Chief at INLondon magazine. “My superpower is translating technical jargon about the mechanical workings of a supercar into a relatable story you’ll want to share with your friends after you’ve read it.” After joining the SB Media family as a senior journalist in September of 2023, Amelia’s role has evolved to see her heading up the SEO output of the editorial team. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
