And the luxury EV has some massive targets in its crosshairs.
The brand aims to directly rival Rolls-Royce and Bentley.
In doing so, the Cadillac Celestiq is seeking to become America’s ultra-luxury EV flagship.

Cadillac’s Celestiq is here – statement made
Well, Cadillac is certainly intent on making a major statement.
And it is aiming to do so with the brand-new, $400,000 Celestiq.
The brand is somewhat shattering expectations for American luxury vehicles.
And this all-luxury, $400,000 EV is the evidence to prove it.
The Celestiq is, to put it simply, a technological marvel.
It is powered by an 819hp, dual-motor, AWD powertrain.
Every single model is hand-built and hand-crafted at General Motors’ Global Technical Center.
Production is limited to fewer than two units per day.

This low-volume, bespoke philosophy goes someway towards justifying its significant cost.
Cadillac spoke to GM Authority and discussed the mindset and pricing of the new Celestiq.
“The bespoke spirit of Celestiq extends to transaction price and will be determined by the client’s level of curation.”
“The canvas for the 2026 model year starts at low-$400k.”
Rolls-Royce and Bentley in the crosshairs?
And the ultra-luxury experience only just begins from there.
Prospective buyers of Cadillac’s flagship EV are assigned a personal concierge and Cadillac designer.
This team works with the buyer(s) to discuss every possible detail of their new Celestiq.
From colors to materials and features, the program ensures that no two Celestiq units will ever be the same.
Inside, the interior of Cadillac’s $400,000 flagship is set to feature an incredible 55-inch display.
Ultimately, this serves as Cadillac’s new “halo” car – an example of what the brand believes is possible.
And it is clear that the American marque is targeting the true heavyweights of the luxury car world.

Names such as Rolls-Royce and Bentley have ruled the luxury car world for decades.
And models such as the Ghost, Wraith, and the Continental have endured as examples of that dominance.
It is a steep hill to climb to truly challenge for the crown in the luxury car world.
But could it be an American EV challenger to change all of that?
