This man bought a wrecked Ford F-150 Raptor so he could use it for work after he restored and repaired the entire thing.

However, there was a solid reason why he chose a damaged truck, and it was hiding a secret all this time.

He only had a few photos to go by and never saw the pickup truck in person.

However, his hunch was spot on and he got himself an epic deal.

Wrecked Ford F-150 Raptor revealed hidden gems

The host from the YouTube channel ‘B is for Build’ is an enthusiast who certainly knows his cars.

He was on the lookout for a new work truck, and while looking at options online, he came across a damaged Ford F-150 Raptor.

Not long after, he bought it and posted a video about it.

On any good day, the F-150 Raptor is a no-brainer as a heavy-duty pickup truck.

This one, however, was damaged, but one key detail that the host saw made him buy a wrecked pickup – not unlike this US Marine who has his wrecked Raptor replaced with a brand new F-150 Raptor R.

While looking at the photos, he saw an aftermarket suspension installed, which was easily worth $5,000 alone.

To top it off, the image of the engine bay revealed that it had an entire supercharger in there, which is obviously not something you see inside an F-150 Raptor every day.

That suspension alone would be in the ballpark of $8,000, he speculated.

A solid deal

Its previous owner took good care of it because there aren’t many people who wouldn’t look after a supercharged and modified pickup.

There’s also the case of the light bars that the last owner installed — maybe he was going for a monster truck vibe there.

Anyhow, this Raptor certainly satisfied the host because he received not only a discount but also $13,000 worth of extra goodies.

This Ford F-150 Raptor was sold through a third party, so it’s likely that they didn’t check for its condition and parts and sold it as is.

We’ve seen our fair share of hidden secrets inside used vehicles, but this one stands out.
