Drake has done it again.

The Canadian Grammy winner is renowned for paying forward his vast wealth to his fans either via live shows or his music-video budgets.

However it appears to be the season to give away supercars and this time he gifted one lucky concert-goer a $140K ride.

With his fleet of supercars including everything from a rare Brabus Crawler to a unique Rolls-Royce Cullinan – Drake knows good cars.

His homecoming concert in Toronto over the weekend saw the 36-year-old rapper hold a raffle.

The recipient was chosen at random unlike Drake’s usual method of scanning the audience and choosing someone with a witty sign.

“This is what I’m gonna do,” he said to the crowd during his Scotiabank Arena show.

“I’m gonna pick a winning ticket out of this drum here. I want everybody to be super quiet.”

Drake then picked a seat number on a piece of paper out of a clear container.

The winner was seat 17483, which appeared to be on the upper level and gives you some idea of the scale of the venue.

The prize? A Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

The luxury car brand’s website lists the SUV at a starting price of $139,900 for the G 550.

And this isn’t just any old runaround.

It packs 5,250-5,500 rpm and 416 hp.

What’s more, it can go from  0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in 5.6 sec and has a torque of 2,000-4,750 rpm.

This isn’t the first time the ‘Rich Flex’ musician has paid it forward to his adoring fans.

Giveaways during his ‘It’s All a Blur Tour’ has seen him hand out designer handbags, a honeymoon to Turks & Caicos and cash.

In fact just a couple of weeks earlier in September, Drake reportedly gave $50,000 to a fan to help him out.

It was the fan’s sign that caught Drake’s eye.

It said that he’d dipped into his furniture fund to pay for tour tickets.

“I spent all my savings buying tickets for me and my ex, but ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, it’s really ‘Her Loss’,” the sign read.

Drake responded with his signature generosity.

“You know what? She’s gonna feel real f***ed up ’cause I’ma give you 50 bands, so you gon’ flex on her tonight,” he said.

All Supercar Blondie contributors undergo editorial review and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and authority in automotive journalism. After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. Since then, Amelia has created content for numerous titles and brands, including the Telegraph, 111 Skin, Waitrose, Red magazine, Stylist, and Elle, as well as being Head of Content at Vitality and Editor in Chief at INLondon magazine. “My superpower is translating technical jargon about the mechanical workings of a supercar into a relatable story you’ll want to share with your friends after you’ve read it.” After joining the SB Media family as a senior journalist in September of 2023, Amelia’s role has evolved to see her heading up the SEO output of the editorial team. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
