It’s no secret that electric vehicles are all the rage.

With technology advancing all the time, cars need to keep up with the times.

And this new vehicle does exactly that.

And even though it’s sadly not made for general production, it really is quite impressive.

Italian design meets flashy new EV technology

Italdesign was founded in 1968 by Giorgetto Giugaro and Aldo Mantovani in the picturesque Moncalieri, Italy.

Longer than a Ford F-150, it boasts sleek and angular futurism that Italdesign brought to its limited-run GT-R 50 project for Nissan.

The Quintessenza is a true conceptual flex for the brand.

A brand new spin on efficiency

The new features consist of a new Sonic.1 in-wheel electric motors, offering a whopping 1,600 kW of power, and it is estimated to reach 0-62 mph in just a mere 2.2 seconds.

The new motors, which are to be used first by Quintessenza cleverly increase the range by 20 percent too.

What’s not to love even if they are heavy and add extra weight on the wheels?

And if that wasn’t enough, the motors also lower the production costs meaning that it will hurt your bank account 20% less, too.

As for technology- you’re in for a real treat.

Italdesign explained that: “The vehicle incorporates Italdesign’s signature elements with illuminated logos and innovative lighting.

“Inside, a smartphone-based interface controls driving modes and settings, while haptic technology and a multifunctional console enhance the user experience, seamlessly integrating human interaction with the environment.”

In fact, you can customize your preferences through your phone- meaning it is ever the adaptable ride and you can switch it up whenever you feel like trying something different.

You can even see data like battery level and speed, too.

It’s great for sightseeing too, as it has a light-sensitive glass top.

Plus, you can park in a secluded spot and twist the two back seats around.

So, keep your eyes peeled as the new vehicle comes storming in- as these in-wheel motors could soon be all the rage.
