A viral Ring camera clip has shown a fire hydrant erupting straight into the side of a parked Ford Raptor.
At first glance, it looks like the truck is about to lose that fight instantly.
Fire hydrants can blast water with enormous pressure, turning a burst pipe into a full-on geyser.
But what happened to the Raptor afterward surprised just about everyone watching.

Fire hydrant vs Ford Raptor
The clip, shared online by @ginasrides.lv, captures the moment a fire hydrant suddenly bursts open beside a parked Ford Raptor.
Without warning, a column of water shoots out and slams directly into the side of the truck.
The pressure is intense.
Water blasts across the body panels and pours over the hood.
For a few seconds, the truck almost disappears behind the spray.
Considering how strong hydrant pressure can be, the scene looks like it could easily dent panels or damage paint on an ordinary vehicle.
However, the video cuts off before showing what the truck actually looks like once the water stops.
Naturally, that left viewers wanting to know who won.
So was the Raptor okay?
Although the clip ends early, the owner later shared an update on the truck.
Despite the dramatic blast of water, the Ford Raptor reportedly suffered minimal damage.
That result might sound surprising, but the truck is built to handle punishment.
Its aluminum-alloy body panels and high-strength steel frame are designed to survive rough off-road conditions that would wreck many other vehicles.
Still, the internet had plenty to say.
Some viewers joked the truck had simply received a ‘pressure wash,’ while others pointed out that fire hydrants can produce serious force and wondered how the Raptor held up.
In the end, while the clip looks chaotic, the result turned out to be surprisingly tame.
The Raptor took the hit… and carried on.
