The Corvette ZR1 is a famous supercar, and now across the pond in Europe, the first of the new fleet has arrived, and as a result are already turning heads.

The impressive models aren’t what you’d usually see on the roads in the continent, but that is all set to change.

Clive Sutton has facilitated the rare import of these cars, which represent just a few of 200 ever made.

Labeled as the most powerful Corvette ever, thanks to its 1,064hp, the ZR1 models carry an eye-watering price tag.

The Corvette ZR1 goes continental

The humble Chevrolet Corvette is known as one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable cars in the US, but now the Corvette ZR1 has taken a special trip overseas.

British retailer Clive Sutton has imported them for a brand new group of drivers, with the cars carrying an eye-watering price tag.

One Corvette ZR1 includes a ‘Competition Yellow’ exterior with the addition of a carbon fiber aero package, but the other couldn’t be more different.

The second ZR1 carries a black exterior that comes complete with red racing stripes.

The ZR1’s power is a force to be reckoned with

When it comes to delivering pure power and performance, the Corvette ZR1 doesn’t mess around.

In fact, the cars that feature V8 turbocharged engines are one of fewer than 200 made in last year’s production run, meaning they are super exclusive.

Considered the most powerful Corvette models ever, they can achieve 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, as well as reach top speeds of 233mph thanks to the 5.5-liter V8 underneath the hood.

Now, it’s not something that you’d usually see on UK roads, but there is a chance for the Yellow Corvette ZR1 to be one lucky car fan’s new daily driver, as it’s still available on the dealer’s site

Sadly, the black Corvette has already been sold, as is the third, as-yet-unamed ‘Vette.

Of course, importation costs will also play a part, so with all added elements considered, the lucky customer can expect to pay between £365,000 and £425,000 ($491,385 and $572,161).

“We’ve imported the world’s most desirable high-performance and luxury vehicles for almost 40 years, but I still get excited by supercars like the ZR1.

“We are proud to have secured the UK and Europe’s first models, and we’ve already sold two of the first
three cars we’ve brought in,” said Founder and CEO Clive Sutton.

You have to admit, the yellow Corvette has an impressive spec, with the inside of the car also matching up. We wonder how long it will be until a gearhead makes it their own.
