Ford is known for producing high-quality, reliable cars.

From daily drivers, to pickup trucks, to muscle cars – the fleet is varied.

But did you know that the most powerful classic muscle car in Ford’s repertoire wasn’t a Mustang?

In fact, Ford discontinued a model so popular that there’s a farewell website in its honor.

Thanks to the advancing tech and clever manufacturing, the cars have special features.

One content creator found this out for himself when he took a look inside his trunk and found one, very detailed diagram on a lever.

“Someone at Ford Motor Company deserves a reward for this,” TikTokker @parkinginfl quipped.

He found a hidden lever that acts as an emergency trunk escape, with one handy little diagram explaining how to use it.

“I love that someone at Ford Motor Company took the time to put this little diagram on this thing, so if you’re locked in the trunk, pull this, hop out, and run,” he explained in a video online.

He also explained that he loved the attention to detail that the company provided on the useful feature, too.

Online, people were shocked at the Ford owner’s discovery of the hidden trunk escape, with other Ford owners even explaining that the lever glows in the dark – taking the safety feature up a level.

Some users seemed very amused at the fact.

“Looks like it glows in the dark as well! That’s awesome,” said one user.

“That’s why it’s called a Ford Escape,” joked another person.

“I love how they’re reminding you that you should run,” quipped one other.
