The world of the ultra-luxury car brand is an extremely competitive one.

Brands such as Bentley and Rolls-Royce have defined the ultra-luxury car market for decades.

It appears that there might finally be a new name on the block.

And this ultra-luxury car brand is the only one founded by a woman.

The name Dacora Motors might not be one that’s entirely familiar to you.

Dacora Motors is a brand with an extremely interesting origin story.

Based in Hudson Valley, New York, the marque has a truly unique approach.

It is reviving the long-lost art of coach-built cars – and it’s an EV.

For one thing, it is the first American ultra-luxury car brand in over a century.

It is also the only ultra-luxury car brand founded and led by a woman.

Dacora Motors was founded by Kristie and Eric D’Ambrosio-Correll, two MIT-trained engineers.

This startup, ultra-luxury brand has just unveiled its maiden, all-electric vehicle.

Its design channels a bygone era of ultra-luxury, 1930s grand tourers.

It is crafted entirely from American-made parts.

But Dacora Motors has also brought in an iconic name to help it along the way.

The legendary Italian design firm Pininfarina has been brought in as a partner with Dacora.

Aside from the stunning, sweeping exterior, the interior is what sets this car apart.

For one thing, this offering from Dacora Motors comes with seasonal, swappable upholstery options.

For example, you could choose linen options in the summer and wool options in the winter.

Owners are also able to supply and incorporate personal heirloom materials and woods into the trim.

And if screens in cars are the bane of your existence, then you’ve come to the right place.

Because Dacora has an extremely strict, no-screens-allowed policy in its cars.

Physical dials, crafted interiors, and a calmer cabin setup are very much the priority.

Don’t let the 1930s influence and design fool you, though, because this Dacora has modern power.

Its all-electric powertrain provides a total power output of over 800HP.

It’s also expected to provide a range in the 400-mile territory.

Prices start at $500,000, but reservations have already surpassed production capacity by 150%.

Every ultra-luxury Dacora car is sold by concierge appointment only.

Potential buyers are assigned their own personal advisor to walk them through every aspect of the build.

Could Dacora be a true disruptor within the ultra-luxury car brand?
