Did you know that in the future, Lamborghinis could detect your vibe and adjust how wild the drive gets because it learnt to mimic your driving behaviour?

The supercar automaker is already experimenting with machine learning to manage torque distribution based on driver behaviour.

This means that over time, your Lambo would ‘learn’ how you, as a driver, drive and change the way it moves depending on this.

If you have a tendency to push a corner too hard, your Lambo’s system would reduce steering assist or introduce more understeer to match – instead of having a co-pilot, your car is your co-pilot.

Future Lamborghinis could detect your vibe and change how you drive

There’s nothing like getting your vibe checked by the resident Gen Zs in your life, but now we’ve learnt that in the future, your Lamborghini supercar could detect your vibe and change how you drive.

As well as implementing machine learning capabilities that learn how you operate as a driver, your Lambo can learn to mimic you.

Lamborghinis of the future will be able to make driving safer, but more fun, so if a driver tends to take corners too harshly, their supercar will learn to reduce steering assist or introduce understeer to stabilize things.

Instead of having a co-pilot when you’re enjoying your supercar, your supercar is your co-pilot, and this makes it a very useful relationship for both of you.

Prepare for a wild ride

Lamborghini is planning on adding driver-monitoring cameras to detect your general mood and micro-movements to sense whether the driver ‘wants to have fun’ when they’re driving or take it a bit more mildly.

In ‘fun’ mode, the system will allow for more slip angle, higher oversteer and more dynamic handling.

In less aggressive states, it tightens up control and may intervene more stringently.

The Lambo’s secret is its new 6D sensor, which is already being used in the limited edition Fenomeno, that measures motion across all six axes- the three directions of X, Y, Z plus pitch, roll and of course, yaw.

All of this driver-driven data builds a ‘digital brain’ and gives your car a sharper picture of who you are as a driver and how you behave.

One thing’s for sure, with a Lambo as your copilot, things are going to get wild.
