Another day, another rumor about the Apple iPhone 16 – this time we’re told it’s going to look different from every iPhone we’ve seen before.

With the iPhone 16 expected to be announced later this year, a new rumor regarding its display has people talking.

If true, it will allow Apple fans to get more than ever from their screen.

While we’ve heard a few things about the hotly anticipated handset and its software – including a brand new button and 10 brand new features – this leak is a real game-changer if proven to be true.

What’s more, Apple is supposedly testing a revolutionary new camera for the iPhone 16.

It turns out Apple is committed to furnishing the hotly anticipated iPhone 16 with an ultra-thin bezel technology so users can take the most out of the screen.

This will allow the new iPhone iteration to deliver a more immersive experience for media consumption, gaming, and video calls.

The information comes from Korea’s SisaJournal (via MacRumors).

Apple plans to use Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology to minimize the bezel at the bottom of the display, per the publication.

This new technology has been achieved by rolling the internal copper wiring into a compact package.

Reportedly the iPhone 16 will have the smallest bezels we’ve ever seen.

And the real kicker is that, instead of holding back the groundbreaking technology for the Pro versions, Apple plans to apply it to all four models.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro bezels differ since the Pro versions use low-injection pressure over-molding.

This brought the display border size to 1.5 mm versus 2.2 mm on previous models.

Multiple sources believe Apple will increase the display size of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max to 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch, respectively.

As has been the case before, the regular iPhone will be smaller.

The non-pro iPhone 16 models will stick with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch options.

After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
