Jimmy Carr’s beloved 1967 Aston Martin DB6 has been turned into a fully electric beast.
The British comedian is known for his take-no-prisoners approach to humor, but he is also a huge petrolhead.
But after this makeover, that may have to be rephrased to ‘electrichead’.
His 1967 Aston Martin DB6 has been given a makeover by Oxfordshire-based Electrogenic, and we’re all here for it.

Jimmy Carr’s 1967 Aston Martin DB6 gets the electric treatment
For its looks alone, the 1967 Aston Martin DB6 is a headturner.
It’s got the perfect blend of style and old-school coolness, whilst not seeming like a relic in the slightest.
There’s something quintessentially James Bond about it.

It’s no wonder that Carr is so fond of it.
And now he can sit in the car and unleash its 197hp at the press of a button.
Capable of reaching a top speed of 90mph and reaching 60mph in 6.5 seconds, this car has been given a boost.
And there’s an added plus – if Carr ever wants to go back to a gas car, he has that option.

That’s because Electrogenic follows a rule not to modify a car beyond a point at which it can’t be reversed.
That means no drilling, no welding, no cutting.
Other celebrity cars we can’t stop thinking about
Some celebrities make their love of cars known to the world in various ways.
Celebrities across various fields love their cars, whether they work in sports, music, or television.
For example, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has an impressive car collection that includes some of the most coveted cars in the world.
Plus, we bet you didn’t know that John Cena spent so much of his cash fixing up a Diablo kit car that he could have bought himself one and a half brand-new Lamborghinis instead.
And Shaquille O’Neal’s legendary collection is in a league of its own – even he’s not sure why he has 40 cars.
Although the backstory to three of his Rolls-Royces is as plain as day; he dropped $1.3 million on them because a salesman got on his nerves.
