It’s completely normal for someone to get nervous when police come knocking down their car’s windows, but this Lamborghini Huracán driver probably took things a bit too far.
Soho Road Police – part of West Midlands Police – in Handsworth, Birmingham, UK, decided to seize this Lamborghini after they found something wrong with its official documentation.
Anyone would freak out to see their expensive luxury supercar getting seized, and so did this driver.
That’s precisely why he asked a police officer a shameless question in a desperate and last attempt to save his car.

Lamborghini Huracán driver got an idea after police seized the car
Soho Road Police seized this bright-orange Lambo because, according to their records, it was untaxed.
Before you think of anything else, we have to remind you that a Lamborghini Huracán costs well over the six-figure territory.
The driver still never got it taxed after he purchased the supercar.
When you’re in a situation like this, some unusual ideas may naturally pop into your mind.
Well, that’s also what happened with this driver.
He asked the police officer who was with him at the time to use his phone so he could tax his car.
There are certainly a lot of questions here, but not many answers.
It wasn’t the best approach
As odd as it was, it wasn’t the end of this saga.
The Lamborghini driver further struggled to get his story straight about why the supercar hadn’t been taxed.
In a post by Soho Road Police on X, the officer mentioned that the driver initially claimed his friend had taxed it and eventually admitted that he couldn’t afford it.
There aren’t many Lamborghini owners who would say that, but there most certainly are several supercar owners getting their rides seized in the UK.
Although seizures are commonplace for different reasons, this one made sure to stand out.
This incident occurred in June 2023, and the police then said that he would have to pay a fine to get his car back.
We hope he got it out, but most importantly, he paid the tax on it.
