This man from Colorado bought a Lamborghini Urus and turned it into a camper home he calls the Camperghini.

In a way, he did the thing some car guys fantasize about but obviously never do.

His Lambo Urus is now one of the most expensive campers on Earth.

It’s also an incredibly fun way to tour the world, which is what he’s using it for.

How this man turned his Lamborghini Urus into a camper, left Colorado and traveled the world

Connor, the guy behind the Camperghini project, has been documenting his journey across various social media platforms.

He’s even updated his Linkedin profile to ‘Connor Camperghini’.

The idea was wild, but simple.

He left his job, sold or donated most of his possessions, including his house, and he is now touring the world with his Lamborghini Urus.

So what did the transformation process look like?

The car was fitted with roof boxes for tools and supplies, and he removed the back seats.

The interior of the car was also remodeled several times.

In the current configuration, he managed to fit a single bed and a pantry/fridge/kitchen in the back of the Lambo.

Travel taken to the extreme

Connor is a gearhead, but he also qualifies to join the elite club of what you’d call extreme travelers.

When a weekend in the Canary Island doesn’t cut it, some people just go the extra mile.

And people like Connor do it with vehicles.

A couple in Germany turned a freight truck into a campervan, and there’s an American couple that did something similar with an old school bus, and another couple, from the UK, who built their DIY motorhome from scratch.

Some people do it on foot, like the guy who visited every single country in the world without flying, and then some people live on a cruise.

This is becoming a thing, with companies creating cruise ships designed specifically for this.

And it’s not just something designed for retirees or wealthy people only.

There’s a Meta employee that’s been doing just that for years.
