There’s so much hype for the Lamborghini Huracán’s successor that even a photo of just its taillight has gotten people excited.
The reveal for the new model is set to come later this month when its unveiled at Monterey Car Week in California on August 16.
An Instagram account @bradyv12awesome has had fans talking after sharing what appears to be a sneak preview of the car’s taillight.

The hype about a taillight
The image reveals a portion of the car’s rear fascia, including a hexagonal LED taillight.
Beyond the taillight, the image gives an insight into some of the vehicle’s aerodynamic properties.
Above the tail lamp is a narrow strip of vents which could be either used for aerodynamic or cooling purposes.
It’s been rumored that this model will be called the ‘Temerario’ – the Spanish word for ‘reckless’ or ‘daredevil’.
Lamborghini filed a trademark for the name back in April, sparking speculation that this would be the name of the car.
When the images hit the internet, car fans were unsurprisingly eager about the upcoming launch day.
One fan branded it ‘Hexagon heaven’, whilst another gushed: “At least it’s different from everything else. Reminds me of a modern Miura.”
The teaser poster shared by Brady reads: ‘You can’t hide who you are.
“Get ready to be guided by your authentic nature and reveal it to the world, beyond every convention.”
Sounds promising.
What we know so far about the Huracán’s successor
With just weeks to go until the big reveal, what do we know about this mystery car?
So far, what we know is that it will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid, as opposed to the V10 engine that powered its forefathers, the Gallardo and the Huracan.
According to Lamborghini, the new HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) super sports car will offer an exemplary driving experience.
Different prototypes of the car have been spotted over the past few months, although always covered in camouflage.
Some rendering artists have created designs to represent what may be hiding beneath the covers.
With just two weeks left to go, one of the most anticipated cars of the year is nearly here.
