After being lost to the world for thirty years, this barn find king from Long Island has tracked down the long-lost, 1-of-25 Rolls-Royce Corniche owned by Tupac Shakur, and documented the wild story of its rediscovery.

As a legend of the music industry, Tupac left a number of relics behind,

Notably, his precious garage full of iconic luxury vehicles has since been scattered around America.

However, one man has gone above and beyond to find the extremely rare Rolls-Royce Corniche that he used to ‘roll up’ to movie sets in.

Tupac adored this long-lost, 1-of-25 Rolls-Royce Corniche

In his tragically short tenure as the most beloved rap artist of his generation, Tupac gathered quite an impressive collection of luxury wares.

Among some special bling, Shakur drove a range of impressive cars, either owning them himself or leasing them through Death Row Records.

From the ‘open top’ Mercedes-Benz 500 Benz that he rapped about to a military-grade Hummer H1, his taste showed no boundaries.

The crème de la crème of his private collection, however, was a Rolls-Royce Corniche.

As one of only 25 made, Tupac’s Rolls was tan-on-black, and he used it as his daily driver.

Owned by only a handful of the most famous celebrities on the planet, this luxury car personified Tupac.

Racking up over 4,000 miles on the luxury car while in his ownership, despite allegedly not being a natural driver himself, Tupac famously rocked up to the Gridlock’d movie set in the car, among many other notable appearances.

The Rolls-Royce was up there with the famed Benz in his favorite list, but was passed back to the record label after he passed.

Since his death, many people have tracked down some of his prized signets, such as Drake, who dropped some serious cash on the crowned ring once donned by Shakur.

Now, one man has found the Rolls-Royce Corniche that he – and Death Row Records – had passed on.

How a ‘barn find king’ found the iconic vehicle

Taking on an interview via VINwiki, the self-proclaimed ‘Barn Find King’, Timothy Fabrizio, revealed that in a hunt for some of the Death Row Records leased vehicles, he came across records of the Rolls-Royce Corniche and tracked it down.

“As I had done research into the Death Row cars and tried to piece together all the last for sale listings and whatnot of Corniche 4s, I came across a registration that had sold in 2017 by Alexander Historical Auctions of one of the Death Row Rolls-Royces that belonged to Tupac,” he explained.

He managed to find the car’s new owner and drove to his house to buy it.

Cross-referencing the serial number and chassis number with heritage sites, he found that this tan-on-black Rolls-Royce Corniche was actually the same one Tupac drove.

He wasted no time getting it home, driving through the night.

The barn find king didn’t reveal what he paid for the car, but it’s undoubtedly one of the greatest memorabilia pieces yet.

He’s since revealed that he will be collecting more information and stories on how Tupac used the car, liaising with Death Row employees to build a full log of its adventures.

“And as the legend himself said, ‘Close your eyes…and picture me rollin’,” Fabrizio quoted on his social media.
