Tesla Full Self-Driving technology has changed the game for millions of the brand’s EV owners – including those driving the Model Y Juniper.

Unlike previous generations, EVs are now popular and cool to own, mostly thanks to Tesla.

A big part of Tesla’s conversion of the car masses is due to its Full Self-Driving technology.

And the Full Self-Driving technology has impressed one man so much that his family member now wants to buy one.

Reddit user makes switch to Tesla with Model Y Juniper

A man from Texas is the latest convert to Tesla, especially its Full Self-Driving capabilities.

Reddit user ‘cookieclutter2602’ recently created a fascinating post on the social media website.

The Reddit user kicks off the post by explaining that he and his wife are officially new brand owners.

They decided on the Model Y Juniper, picking it up in San Antonio, Texas.

He then expands on his love of the EV’s aggressive exterior look, whilst complimenting the minimalist approach inside the Model Y Juniper.

But it is his description of the driving experience that gets really interesting at this point.

The Reddit user explains that his new Model Y Juniper ‘drives like a dream’.

“FSD (Full Self-Driving) is a game changer,” said the Reddit user.

For context, the new Model Y Juniper owner explains that San Antonio is about one and a half hours from his home.

“It was so nice to just sit back and let the car drive…car drove flawlessly with a few minor nitpicks,” he said.

The user ends his experience with Full Self-Driving by describing it as ‘like being in a sci-fi movie’.

Full Self-Driving inspires family member to make change

What makes this experience with Tesla’s Full Self-Driving even more impactful is the end result on a family member.

The Reddit user’s cousin, according to the post, called him to congratulate him on picking up his new Model Y Juniper.

According to the Reddit post: “He’s concerned about his Dad getting into a car accident and is leaning towards buying a Model 3 just for FSD.”

“I think a decision will be made once he sits in my car and experiences FSD for himself,” he added.

Have you experienced the Tesla Full Self-Driving system for yourself?

If so, would you recommend it to people thinking of making the switch to Tesla?
