Mark Zuckerberg is taking his pre-fight prep seriously.
Taking to Instagram, Zuckerberg just revealed he had earned the ‘second-adult rank’ in the sport, proving he’s more than capable of taking on his tech rival.
“Honored to be promoted to compete at blue belt for @guerrillajjsanjose team,” he wrote.
The internet was sent into a tailspin when news first broke that two of the richest men on Earth were going to go head-to-head in a cage match.
Last month, Elon, 51, and Mark, 39, taunted each other with a series of online posts until they seemingly confirmed they were revving up for an actual physical fight.
In a tweet – sorry – an X, the Tesla founder announced that he was “up for a cage fight if [Zuckerberg] is”.
Shortly after, the Meta CEO took him up on the offer, sharing a response on his own platform, Instagram, “Send Me Location.”
As Zuckerberg gets into shape for the upcoming brawl, eyes have turned to Musk to see how he’s preparing for the match.
And it turns out he might also be taking the challenge seriously.
Pictures have since circulated showing Musk training with a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Lex Fridman.
Funnily enough, Fridman has trained with both billionaires, praising them both.
“It’s really inspiring to see Elon and Mark doing martial arts, but I think the world is served far better if they train martial arts but not fight in the cage,” he said.
“That said, as Elon says, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely… I’m there for them, no matter what.”
All this prep has everyone wondering if and when the fight between the two tech tycoons will actually happen.
The date is yet to be revealed but what we do know is it’s expected to unravel at UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada.
