Duo drive BMW 320d to Munich for unique milestone
Today’s story is a heart-warming road trip across the heart of Europe.
And it is being done in order to celebrate a special car.
The video in question comes to us from British automotive YouTuber Joe Achilles.
Joe and his friend Pat start off the video attempting something very cool.
The pair had just picked up a 2011 BMW 320d from a garage in the English town of Dorchester.
And the duo planned to drive it back to its birthplace in Bavaria, Germany.
But the aim of the trip was to hit the 250,000-mile mark on the way.

This video kicked off with the pair catching the train to France, with the car sitting at 249,000 miles.
Joe and Pat discussed the car, complimenting it on how amazingly well it drove.
The duo swapped driving duties a few hours into their tour of the French motorways.
Car exceeded expectations – in every way
Along the way to Munich, several amazing discoveries were made.
For one thing, the 320d can easily achieve around 55-60mph on the highway.

And the performance is nothing to be sniffed at, either.
That is because Joe and Pat discovered a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds on the German Autobahn, as well as a top speed of 148mph.
The pair finally arrived in Munich to celebrate the quarter-million-mile mark of this car.
Joe and Pat end the video by arriving at BMW Classic in Munich, where their 320d joined its fellow four-wheeled siblings.
What an incredible achievement to hit the 250,000-mile mark!
