The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is a massive six-meter (19.7-feet) long.

As Supercar Blondie herself – Alex Hirschi – puts it, this car is the ‘pinnacle of luxury’.

It’s just begging to be driven.

Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet

This futuristic yet classic cabriolet might not be suited to the German weather that Alex is testing it in – but it’s still the kind of car that makes you want to ‘feel the wind in your hair’ whatever the weather.

Plus the fact that it’s a two-seater means this isn’t a car you’re going to be chauffeured around it – the driving experience is key.

As stated on the Mercedes-Benz website, the timeless Maybach boasts a ‘sensual, emotionally appealing design and innovative technical concept solutions’.

This ‘defines the ultimate in luxury of the future’.

Its name – of course – comes from the car’s imposing size.

Not unlike the world’s most expensive car, the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, it was inspired by a yacht.

As Alex puts it: “They wanted that very relaxed and stately feeling.”

She continues: “It’s gentleman-esque instead of like aggressive, sporty, and performance-based.”

At the front, it features the classic, pin-striped Maybach grille that’s reminiscent of a tailored suit, alongside cat-eye headlights to underscore that element.

Similarly, the story behind Bugatti’s iconic horseshoe-shaped grille is fascinating.

The interior

With rose-gold accents in the cabin and light-up Mercedes badges set into the upholstery – the interior is every bit as impressive as the exterior.

A control screen spanning the entire length and front of the car is designed to keep the driver up to date with everything that’s going on.

There’s even access to a virtual concierge to allow the driver to interact with the car itself.

Under the hood

Fictional stats for the concept states there it would have four electric motors providing around 750 horsepower zero.

This would allow it to go from 0-100 km/h / 0-62 mph in under four seconds.

What’s more, the range would be just over 200 miles (321 km).

The concept also promised a 60-mile range within five minutes of charging.
