Training wheels are supposed to be the mark of, well, training, for any bike user, right? Well, no. As it turns out, motorbike stabilizers in China are actually some of the best gadgets on the road.

We have all been through that progression, ditching the bicycle training wheels and scraping our knees with our heads held high through the pain.

But it seems that even the most experienced gearheads could be about to benefit from motorbike stabilizers.

Watch as this modified bike deploys a small set of rear wheels when approaching traffic lights, keeping the biker steady and upright when they can’t touch the floor. It’s genius.
