Luxury takes on a whole new meaning in the brand new Bentley.
The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase’s rear cabin is set up like your own private jet.
It’s a car to be chauffeured in, relaxing in the back seats as it floats down the road.
You sit on a ‘Bentley Airline Seat’, which is dubbed as the “most advanced seat ever fitted to a car”.
So what does that actually mean?

Well if you put it in the Relax mode, it reclines to 40 degrees. As you lean back, a leather-trimmed footrest pops out from the back of the seat in front of you.
But it’s not just a recliner. It has clever auto climate tech which means it knows how hot or cold you are.
The seat then heats up or ventilates itself.
Then there’s the comfort of it all. The seats are full of tiny little sensors and these can make 177 small pressure changes to make sure you are as comfortable as possible on a long road trip.
The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase’s rear cabin is pure luxury.

What Bentley has to say about its new model
Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, said: “The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase is our first car truly dedicated to the onboard wellness of its occupants.
“Every Bentley gets you to your destination feeling more relaxed than when you started your journey, and yet with the Extended Wheelbase we’ve been able to go even further thanks to the adoption of world-first wellness technology embedded within our unrivalled interior cabin design.
“In combination with the incredible skills of the craftspeople at our carbon-neutral factory in Crewe, these advances make the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase the ultimate luxury SUV to drive or be driven in.”
What luxury SUVs will it compete with?
The luxury SUV space is heating up with Ferrari confirming the mysterious upcoming Purosangue will have a V12 engine.
The SUV market has been massively successful for luxury car brands and rival Lamborghini set a sales record last year in large part due to the success of the Urus.
The Urus sold nearly double the units of Lamborghini’s next best-seller, the Huracan.
